Coach Tony Jones is currently in his third year as the Head Coach of the Varsity Girls Basketball Team, at the Portland Waldorf School. He also oversees the development of the Girl's Basketball Program at PWS.
In just three short years, under Coach Tony's direction, his Varsity Girls Basketball Team has gone from
3-21 in the 2006-07 season, to a Valley 10 District Championship & Top Ten state ranking .
Other major accomplishments achieved during the last two seasons coaching at PWS are a third place finish in the district tournament in the 2007-08 season, as well as a District Champioinship in the 2008-09 season. Both seasons finished as the best in school history.

Since the 2006-07 season the PWS Girls Basketball Program has emerged as a force in the league, and his programs are now mentioned with the best the State of Oregon has to offer.
